Dissemination
The dissemination strategy includes the following activities and instruments:
1. Project web site, containing a description of the project objectives, the proposed architecture, consortium, and other important and up-to-date information. The website will be used by the consortium as the main dissemination channel.
2. Project leaflet and poster - electronic and paper-based material will be published to disseminate the project objectives and the planned outcomes.
3. Press releases and press conferences organised by the coordinator and project partners in order to give the maximum visibility to its results and activities.
4. Interviews to local/regional radio and newspapers.
5. National and international conferences and workshops in the area of e-business, semantic technologies, business process management and security.
6. Articles in professional economic journals and in magazines on networked businesses.
7. Presentations, tutorials and demonstrations at regional, national and international industrial exhibitions and fairs, like events of various chambers of commerce.
8. Dissemination platforms supported by EC, e.g. IST Results; participation in EC concertation meetings, events and exhibitions.
9. Newsletters addressed to key stakeholders and the scientific community.
10. Word of mouth, through the management of the involved companies, especially Citec, Infineon und AddIT with their wide-spread presence all over Europe.
Target audiences of the dissemination activities:
1. Management of enterprises
2. Chambers of commerce, associations of SMEs, and management of incubators and technology parks. This will be done in order to raise awareness of SPIKE on a higher, wider level. It will take place in a non-technical, value-, and business-oriented manner.
3. Research community and other projects.
The dissemination objectives can be roughly divided into three stages:
1. Raising awareness
2. Promotion of the first project results
3. Promotion of project results especially of pilot applications
