Abstract
Abstract:
This deliverable provides guidelines and basis for creating end user documentation for future users of SPIKE. As customization is always needed for different cases/customers and the final documentation set needs to be tailored for each case separately, this deliverable serves as a starting point for future potential users of SPIKE.
Executive Summary
The objective of WP8 System integration was to integrate all components developed within the project (notably the Portal System and the Service Bus with their security mechanisms) into the final version of the SPIKE system. This work package gradually integrated all components (software modules, methodological attainments, functional specifications) and produced the final version of the platform and relevant documentation. The deliverables for WP8 include D8.1 SPIKE system, and D8.2 SPIKE documentation. The deliverable D8.2 consists of D8.2a and D8.2b. The deliverable D8.2 has been divided into two: D8.2a SPIKE System documentation, and D8.2b SPIKE End user documentation for distinguishing the two different documents (with their specific purposes) written for this work package.
This document provides the outline for creating end user documentation in the context of future users of SPIKE taking SPIKE into use and creating the specific end user documentation for their needs. The documentation process is divided into five separate phases related to the creation of end user documentation: 1) Information planning, 2) Content specification, 3) Implementation, 4) Production, and 5) Evaluation. The outline for each separate phase is described in this document
