Abstract:
This deliverable presents the main security components for the portal system. In particular, we describe a suitable tool, Shibboleth, for implementing authentication that it is further usable for making authorization decisions.
Executive Summary
This deliverable presents the main security features that are to be included in the SPIKE portal.
In particular, we concentrate on authentication and authorization. Thus, we describe Shibboleth,
a solution for implementation of authentication and Single Sign On for federations that we are
going to adapt to the SPIKE requirements and needs. This solution also supports authorization.
