Abstract

This software deliverable documents implementation work accomplished within task T4.2. The main emphasis of the document is put on description of particular managers, providing details about their concrete realization in SPIKE environment. Besides this main topic of the deliverable, sections covering reference to overall architecture have been added. As particular components are ready for testing, a section explaining installation and configuration details is available.

This report is the first one in the series of D4.2 deliverables documenting portal components developed within SPIKE project. It documents implementation details of respective managers that are planned to be integrated into the Portal System. The document starts with an implementation overview and makes a reference to the overall SPIKE architecture. Going further a short section describing the installation process of the testing environment is given, providing details of Liferay Portal installation and designing tools. The main emphasis is put on implementation details of respective architectural modules and their integration with external tools. At the end we provide a plan for integrating separate components into a fully operational platform, which is to be tested in trial 2 of the SPIKE project.
