Key Project Personnel

Tomas Sabol, MSc, PhD is professor and dean of the Faculty of Economics, Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia. He has considerable experience in EU R&D projects – participated in about twelve FP4/FP5/FP6 projects, two times being a Project coordinator (FP6-2004-27020 Access-eGov, IST- 1999-20364 project “Webocracy”). Tomas has worked as an evaluator, reviewer, and rapporteur of FP5 and FP6 IST projects, eEurope Awards for Innovation in eGovernment and eParticipation projects. He was a member of the eEurope Advisory Group (Expert Chamber).

Tomas is a member of the Scientific Steering Committee of the "Information Society Developments in the New Member States and Candidate Countries" Research Program of the IPTS, EC, Seville; national expert and correspondent for e-Business Watch Initiative, serves on boards of journals and conferences etc.

Marian Mach, MSc, PhD is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics. He participated in the FP6-2004-27020 Access-eGov, FP6-2004-027128 SAKE, IST-1999-20364 project Webocracy, Esprit Projects 29015 ENRICH and 29065 Know-Web, COPERNICUS project CIPA-CT-94-0149 ENCODE, etc. He has considerable experience in building information and control systems for business and industry. He participated in several industrial projects as a system analyst and project manager.
