IT Inkubator Ostbayern GmbH

The IT Inkubator Ostbayern GmbH is a 100% affiliate company of the municipality of Regensburg. It has been founded in 2001 in order to promote the development of the ICT branch in the region of Regensburg. The company started and organises the IT-Security Cluster Initiative, established and runs an ICT centre for start-up-companies and initiated a broad variety of other projects all focused on starting cooperation between companies.

The goals of the IT-Security Cluster Initiative are to support collaboration between IT-Security companies, to promote training in IT-Security and research, to present Eastern Bavaria as an innovative IT-site with focus on IT-Security, and to underline the awareness of the importance of ITSecurity.
